HOOK LINE AND SINKER

The primary aim of this concept was to grab attention and evoke laughter. Given that the event is a comedy festival, it was essential for the marketing materials to inspire joy at first sight.
The images were tightly cropped and treated with high exposure to create the illusion of being in the spotlight on stage. Consistent use of the font and colours throughout all branding materials ensures a cohesive and impactful visual identity.
It also emphasizes the awkwardness that often accompanies comedy. Performers sometimes miss the mark, leaving both themselves and the audience cringing - but this is part of the journey. The core idea is that whether you’re laughing out of delight or chuckling at a failed joke, you’ll inevitably find yourself giggling. The character featured in all the branding embodies this concept, with hooks lifting the corners of his mouth into a smile, almost against his will.
